MS Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer with Electrical Bias to ensure optimal maintenance of our mechanical and electrical equipment, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement in our manufacturing facility.
Hours: 7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am, rotating across days and nights
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance, update CMMS, and coordinate with other departments to minimise disruptions.
- Continuous Improvement: Support TPM initiatives, modify equipment, and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Operational Support: Lead factory startups/shutdowns, troubleshoot breakdowns, and assist with new installations.
- Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Training & Support: Train operational staff, promote cross-skilling among engineers, and manage issue escalation.
Requirements
- Experience: Prior experience in a similar role within FMCG or a related industry.
- Education: HNC or equivalent.
- Skills: Electrical expertise, multi-disciplinary knowledge, PLC fault finding/programming, compliance with relevant safety standards (e.g., BS EN (phone number removed), BS7671 18th Edition).
- Attributes: Proactive, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficient with CMMS.
