£42,000 - £50,000/annum Overtime 150% + Annual Bonus

Plater Welders are required to join a nationally renowned steelwork provider on a permanent basis. Guaranteed overtime paid at time and half. Realistic earnings over £50,000 with a 6% matched pension and annual bonus. This position will offer the right candidate an fantastic opportunity to join an employer who values its workforce.

Due to a growing order book that already stretches well into 2025. We are looking to speak to skilled Plater welders, preferably people who have worked with structural steel. Both night shift and day shift work is available.

  • Starting hourly rate £18.76 per hour (night shift)

Plater Welder Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Able to read detailed fabrication drawings
  • Setting out of complex fabrications using the appropriate equipment
  • Tack welding components into position in order to follow the welding procedure
  • Lifting, turning, manipulating and moving heavy loads with cranes.


Plater Welder Skills & Key Competencies:

  • Previous MIG, MAG, plater Welding experience
  • Ideally, the right candidate will come from a structural welding background
  • Be highly motivated with good communication skills
