Site Manager – West Cornwall
RGB are eagerly keen to speak with experienced Site Managers who are up for a challenge!
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established contractor for an exciting and prestigious project in West Cornwall. For this project, every corner of previous experience will be needed with challenges including logistics, waste, location and noise to name a few. As the Site Manager, you will need to have previous experience with planning and programming of complex projects including renovations on listed buildings!

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct, co-ordinate and monitor all team and sub-contractor activities
  • Ensure the Health & Safety of all staff, sub-contractors, visitors public
  • Produce and maintain project records in line with procedures
  • Manage client expectations and report against customer specific measures
  • Maximise profit and cash through effective management of change, risk and opportunity, effective procurement strategy and effective supply chain selection and management
  • Liaising with clients and reporting progress
  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
  • Maintaining quality control checks
  • Day to day problem solving
  • Using specialist construction management computer applications
Skills:
  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work in date
  • Design & Build experience
  • Contract knowledge & reporting (NEC, JCT etc)
  • A proven, proactive knowledge of the management of Health & Safety
