Copello have partnered with an established Air Traffic Management business in the recruitment of Site Support Engineers to be based in the Falkland Islands.
This is a multi-function role, reporting directly to the UK Head of Operations. As a Site Support Engineer, you will have knowledge of Air Defence Radar Systems, with a can-do attitude.
The responsibilities of the Site Support Engineer with include:
- Assist Radar Engineer(s) with routine maintenance tasks as required.
- Conduct essential maintenance on Radar/Comms/Datalink ancillary equipment (standby generators, air compressors etc.)
- Maintain on-site workshop, tools and consumables.
- Perform daily site inspections and report any issues with site security or facilities that need to be addressed.
- Driving Duties to include off-road BV Driving
- Management of engineering support activities, such as COSHH, Tools etc
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- BV 206 Qualified
- HGV Cat C License (essential)
- Experience of the Type 102 Radar
- Vehicle maintenance
- HVAC maintenance
- Industrial maintenance
