Location: Billingshurst, West Sussex

We are a dynamic and innovative small to medium sized business, established in Billingshurst in 1973. We are one of the World’s leading manufacturers of water purification and disinfection tablets, supplying government organisations, charities and prominent retailers with our lifesaving products. Our commitment to quality and sustainability drives our success, and we are looking for 2 talented Shift Production Administrators to join our team.

Role Overview:

In this exciting new role as Production Administrator, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. You will collaborate with various teams, manage administrative tasks, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Hours: We operate to a rotating shift pattern as follows:

06:45-14:45 (Monday-Thursday) and 06:45-13:45 (Friday), followed by 14:30-22:30 (Monday to Thursday) and 13:30-20:30 (Friday).

Production Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Raise batch Documents
  • Raising and printing work instructions
  • Record completed works orders
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities
  • Supporting/covering daily planning of production/packing programs
  • Prepare production reports, update databases, and handle paperwork related to production activities
  • Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements to enhance productivity
  • Use IT systems and software for works order management and data analysis
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.

Production Administrator Requirements:

  • Previous experience in production administrator or related roles preferred
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Precise record keeping and data management skills
  • Proficient in using IT systems for works order management and data analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
