We are seeking a suitably experienced person for a local authority contract working as a Workforce Development Officer.

The role of ASC Workforce Development Officer will take a lead role in the development and delivery of the Adult Social Care and Commissioning Workforce and Organisational Development Strategy, influencing workforce planning, career pathways, organisational development and supporting the services cultural change and improvement journey.  You will develop, co-ordinate, implement and evaluate high-quality workforce development plans and initiatives that deliver sustainable improvements in individual, team and organisational practice and performance.

You will lead the development and delivery of the Adult Social Care & Commissioning Workforce and Organisational Development Strategies to ensure the service meets the relevant strategic objectives, the national direction of travel, and has a reputation for being a good place to work with opportunities for professional and career development.
