We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join one of the fastest-growing Powered Access companies in the UK as an Apprentice Engineer and start on the path to a successful and rewarding engineering career.

Salary is based on the National Apprenticeship rate of £6.40 per hour plus benefits (for the first 12 months, after which the rate is dependent on age).

We will provide the successful Apprentice Engineer with a structured programme of training, both within our workshops and externally through F-tec, leading to an industry-recognised Apprenticeship Standard. Applicants will be required to sit a short maths and English entrance test to qualify for the programme.

What's involved in this Apprentice Engineer role?

• 3-year apprenticeship.
• Working towards Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Lift Truck and Powered Access.
• Valuable practical experience in an industry where qualified engineers are in demand.
• Work with mechanical and electro/hydraulic systems.
• Servicing and maintaining an expanding hire fleet of modern truck-mounted powered access machinery.

To be successful as an Apprentice Engineer, you will need:

• Maths and English GCSEs Grade 4 or above.
• A clear interest and aptitude for practical engineering.
• To demonstrate enthusiasm for the role.
• To be able to work well under pressure and take instruction well.
