Copello are recruiting for a Programme Planner to join a defence organisation in Buckinghamshire on an inital  6 month contract.

The Programme Planner will joining a legacy project to provide development for the programmes planning and controlling capability. You will a vital part of project planning team implementing robust plans & controls to ensure that project completion to the clients specifications.  

Responsibilities of the role include:

Taking lead on planning activities as well as the development of intergrated schedules
Integrating plans with key suppliers into the IMS
Providing reports on variations. remedial actions
Identification of options to optimise project delivery through resource smoothing/levelling as well rescheduling activities
Reporting project progress and updates within internal stakeholders and clients
Clear translation of project requirements, prerequisites and constraints within the programme schedule

The successful Programme Planner will require the following experience:

3-5 years experience within planning major projects
Defence\Telecoms or Rail experience
Expert knowledge of MS Projects and exposure to Primavera
Strong communciation within a client facing role
Experience of integrate project information into an IMS
Commercial and analytical individual
Experience of managing multiple workloads

This role will require 4 days a week on site (Buckinghamshire mainly with poss travel to London) and is paying circa £400 per day (inside IR35).
