Blue Arrow have an exciting opportunity to join a large warehouse in Peterborough as a Senior Lead Associate/Team Leader on a long term contract!

SHIFTS:

Saturday and Sunday, 22:00-06:00, with availability for additional hours to cover holidays/sickness

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
* Provide cover in depleted areas of the business by amending planners and rotas
* Accident and incident reporting
* Drug and alcohol testing where necessary
* Act as a 'buddy' for new starters
* Responsible for the safety of co-workers
* Plan training for team members
* Leading by example, with regards to sickness, absence, attitude and achievements
* Ensure KPI's are met and quality is not compromised
* Report agency performance figures to management team
* Report daily sickness and absence
* Maintain a safe working environment for everyone
* Represent Blue Arrow at all times

COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong written and spoken English
* Good communicator
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail
* Innovative and self-motivated
* Computer literate, with a good understanding of Microsoft Office
* Able to understand the customer journey
* Quality focused
* Understand the importance of H&S
* Strong written and spoken English
* Proven experience supervising a team, preferably within a warehouse environment
* Able to demonstrate leadership qualities in challenging situations
* Able to handle confidential information correctly
* Able to effectively communicate at all levels
* Good understanding of business processes and customer journey
* Understand and demonstrate Blue Arrow values
* Able to make decisions based on business requirements

Previous leadership experience is desirable.
