QA Engineer

The role:
To coordinate project welding activities including equipment selection, NDT coordination and control of welding consumables. Supervision of welders & allocation to jobs. The Quality control of construction / manufacturing inspection and comilation of records. Report to & assist the site management team to achieve contract requirements.
Work in this role will predominantly be located within either:
Our Northern region - covering Yorkshire & Humber, North West & North East.
Southern Region, in, around and between our Rochester and Cardiff Offices. Applicants must be available to also work throughout the UK as work develops.
Applicants must hold:
- CSWIP 3.1 visual inspection certificate and have experience working in a welding related occupation.
- CCNSG safety passport
- 5 years experience in a welding related occupation or as a qualified welder with knowledge of processes
- 3 years experience in manufacturing or site construction
- IT experience is essential in Microsoft applications.
