Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team. This role is pivotal in delivering advanced systems engineering solutions to a variety of high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) solutions for complex projects
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system integration and performance
- Conducting rigorous system analysis and trade-off studies
- Preparing technical documentation, including system specifications and design reports
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
- Participating in client meetings and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Continuously improving systems engineering processes and methodologies
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in using systems modelling tools such as SysML, MagicDraw, or similar
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Relevant degree in engineering or a related field
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Knowledge of Defence & Security sector standards and practices is desirable
