Job Overview:
365 People are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our clients team based in Leicester initally on a 3 to 4 month contract.
As a Joiner, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling wooden components to create various structures and fixtures. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools.
Duties:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood pieces according to specifications
- Assemble wooden components using nails, screws, or adhesives
- Repair or replace damaged wooden structures
- Ensure that all work meets quality standards and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions
