Search Recruitment are currently working with their client based on the outskirts of Angus who are looking for dedicated, motivated and reliable Production Operatives to join their team.

Core details:

• Monday - Friday (Sunday - Thursday when on night shift)
• Shift work: days, backshift and nightshift - successful candidates are expected to be able to carry out all 3
• £11.49p/h base salary, uplifts will be applied depending on shift pattern
• 3 month temporary contract initially with the opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeks for the right candidate

Your duties as a Production Operative:

• Work in accordance with Health & Safety policies and procedures to correctly prepare packaging for food products
• Carry out cleaning activity in the production and packaging area to maintain the high standard of hygiene
• Mix and package food products as appropriate
• Quality check produce
• Palletise, wrap and label finished goods as required.
• Complete any documentation required in relation to the produce
• Raise any discrepancies in materials, operating machinery or final product with the appropriate person(s)
• To support in other departments as required

The ideal candidate will poses the following:

• FMCG experience (desirable but not essential as training will be provided)
• Basic numeracy skills
• Able to communicate, work well within a team and follow instruction
• Self sufficient and able to use own initiative
• Demonstrate safe working practices

Due to location, successful candidates MUST hold a drivers license and have access to their own vehicle.
