Shirley Parsons have partnered with an independent and award-winning multi-disciplinary construction consultancy who are searching for an Associate Fire Engineer. Their culture revolves around creativity, professionalism, compassion, client-focus, and fun. They provide integrated service delivery across real estate, infrastructure, and the natural environment. They are looking for an ambitious individual based in England and the position offers a hybrid working arrangement.
The Associate Fire Safety Lead will be responsible for:
- Providing internal expertise and supporting the business in achieving high levels of safety on projects.
- Reviewing designs and advising on required active and passive fire systems and what elements of relevant standards (including BS9999) apply.
- Developing and maintaining strong internal relationships and being an expert for the network.
- Working closely with the Director to lead, shape, and develop a new business area.
The ideal Associate Fire Safety Lead requires:
- Extensive experience working as a Senior Fire Engineer, ideally from a design perspective.
- A degree or diploma level qualification in Fire Engineering or associated courses.
- Senior level membership with the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).
- Leadership qualities and a personable nature to be successful in building relationships.
