The company:

A medium sized contractor based in Kent that work across most sectors of the construction industry including new build & refurbishment for commercial, local authority, education and housing schemes along with civil engineering packages up to £40 million.

The role:

As the Quantity Surveyor you will report to a Commercial Manager and take responsibility of the surveying function on a new build student accommodation development vaued at £12 million. Your role will involve but not be limited to:

• Reviewing programme of works.
• Building up scopes of work and sending out tender documentation to subcontractors.
• Analysis of subcotractor tender returns and awarding packages.
• Management of subcontractor accounts.

About you:

• Previous recent experience in a similar or the same role is essential.
• Qualified in a related field to HNC or above standard.
• Design & Build experience
