Contract Type: Full and Part time roles
Salary: Competitive daily rate of £157.66, paid to scale

About Us: We are excited to announce an opening for a passionate and dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher at a large and busy primary school in Caerphilly. This is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in the education of our KS2 learners.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment, and supporting the academic and personal development of our KS2 students.
Responsibilities:


  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons for KS2 students.

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Support the development of each child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual skills.

  • Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.

  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other staff to ensure each child's needs are met.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports on students' development and achievements.

  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.


Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience working with KS2 students, preferably in a school setting.

  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for education.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
