A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a confident Fire Engineer to join a well known, market leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, based out of their Bristol office.
The Fire Engineer Responsibilities
The successful fire engineer will work across a variety of sectors, Education, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare and more for projects in and outside the UK.
You must have previous experience with fire engineering design within a building services context, more senior Fire Engineers and members of staff will be there to support.
You will be required to carry out accurate and detailed:
- Fire Engineering Design
- Fire Strategies
- Fire Hazard Identification
- Fire Risk Assessment
- Smoke control Design
- Code Compliance Reviews
- Fire suppression and fire alarm systems would be beneficial
Experience using Technical Handbooks software is desirable.
Fire Engineer Qualifications / Skills
- Fire Engineering Degree / BEng or Relevant Degree (mechanical, building services)
- MSc beneficial but not required
- Previous experience with a multidisciplinary or a consultancy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management
- Commercially minded
