They have been ranked 'good' by Ofsted in 2023, and outstanding on 5 consecutive occasions, displaying a reputation for excellence in all aspects of the school's service to the children in our school and the wider community. The school has a supportive English department led by a dedicated head of department. The department offers an ambitious, exciting, and diverse curriculum that provides both students and teachers with enriching learning experiences. With well-resourced facilities, including access to multimodal texts, their department consistently delivers exceptional results up to A-Level.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach English across Key Stages 3-5
  • Support meetings within the department
  • Immerse yourself within the school community
  • Fulfill form tutor responsibilities
  • Promote a love of learning
  • Create a safe and stimulating environment for students to thrive

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or International Equivalent
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • 10-year employment check
