Carbon60 are looking to recruit an experienced mechanical engineer to join the building maintenance team based at a static site in Romford, working for a world leading facilities management company.

• 40 hrs. per week over 7 days per week.
• Hours will be 08.00-17.00.
• Salary £41,839
• On Call rota which can range from 1 in 4 to 1 in 6 dependants on absences
• On Call retainer £1190
• Per call out there is a payment of £90.27
• Authorised Person Duties £500 per duty max two
• 25 days annual leave

Duties & Accountabilities:

• Carrying out a wide range of Mechanical work, fault finding and repairs ensuring planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Statutory, Routine and reactive work is carried out.
• Use CAFM system for work processing and monitoring of estates Maintenance procedures in the required timescales.
• Provide trade skill expertise and provide information and assistance to the management team as requested
• Able to carry out fault finding with the ability to diagnose problems and improvements along with hands on repair of designated plant and equipment.
• Have a good knowledge of Hospital building services not limited to but including Boilers, Ventilation and Air Conditioning and associated control systems, Heating and Cooling systems and all other general mechanical installations.

Specifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in a Mechanical Trade
• HTM knowledge experience within health premise
• Water monitoring/testing/awareness
• Vent - AHU / Fan Coils / knowledge HVAC /HRAC
• Authorised Person (bonus)
• The post holder will be required to use their skills and knowledge to undertake day to day reactive and PPM tasks on a wide range of mechanical systems.
