We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our client's innovative, family-run business. The client manufactures and supplies lightweight tiled conservatory roofs and Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs) for home extensions and garden rooms. By bringing their structural engineering needs in-house, they aim to reduce reliance on freelance engineers.

About the Client

Our client specializes in prefabricated structures that are assembled on-site, dismantled, numbered, and coded for rapid re-assembly at the customer’s location. They focus on delivering efficient and precise residential projects.

Job Description

We offer a unique opportunity for a Structural Engineer with a residential background to work on small to medium-scale extensions, refurbishments, and conversions. The role includes meeting client requirements and engaging in various aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on a range of residential developments.
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors from initial contact to project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits for project accuracy.
  • Provide structural calculations and design for customer projects.

Position Requirements

  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Excellent technical knowledge.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Structural Engineer role.
  • Strong residential construction background.
