OATS Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our engineering client for Steel Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis in Rotherham.
Job Duties:
- Operating machinery such as plasmas and drill machinery.
- Operating Forklift trucks and cranes.
- Pick generated orders with handling/lifting of heavy and large items.
- Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
- Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers' orders.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will have at least 4 years' experience within a steel environment
- Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
- The successful candidate will be trained to work on CNC machines
- Must be able to use FLT and Overhead Cranes
Shifts;
Days - Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 14:00 Friday 06:00 to 12:30 - £13 an hour
Nights - Monday to Thursday 20:30 to 06:00 Friday 18:00 to 03:00 - £17.25 an hour
This is a temp to perm position, with lots of overtime always available at time and a half. Please apply now for immediate consideration.
