General Cover Teacher

• Location:Gateshead, Tyne and Wear 
• Salary: £75 - £90 per day
• Contract: Full Time, Temporary
• Start: ASAP/September 2024 

GSL Education requires a General Cover Teacher to provide short-term coverage across various subjects in a secondary school located in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.

Job Summary:

• Deliver lessons across a range of subjects based on existing plans.
• Maintain classroom discipline and support student learning.
• Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and student needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage classroom activities and ensure a constructive learning environment.
• Provide immediate feedback to students and staff.
• Address various learning styles through flexible teaching methods.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Adaptability to different teaching roles and school environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
