Our client, a leader in delivering high quality, processed biological materials is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Team Leader to join their growing team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all aspects of Quality Assurance activities are completed to the highest standards, adhering to all applicable regulations and best practices.

Key responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Team Leader - Pharmaceuticals include:

• Managing and supporting a small Quality Assurance team in line with GxP, Quality and Health & Safety standards.
• Manage the Quality Management System and associated documents.
• Provide guidance and advice to internal departments handling deviations and quality incidents.
• Analyse deviation trends and customer complaints to identify trends and suggest improvement strategies.
• Conduct major quality investigations, internal audits, and support the hosting of on-site regulatory audits.
• Manage risks to product quality, data integrity and patient safety throughout the product lifestyle.
• Identify and support professional development needs within the team.

To be considered as a Quality Assurance Team Leader - Pharmaceuticals, you will need the following skills or experience:

• A proven track record in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
• Prior experience in managing and leading a team, being able to support their personal development .
• Previous experience in a clean room or manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience of  working with quality documentation and quality management systems.
• Extensive knowledge of sterile aseptic filling and packing manufacturing process.
• Extensive prior experience of GMP.
• Strong communication skills, able to cross functionally communicate with internal departments and customers.
• A willingness for self-directed leaning with experience incorporating novel information into routine working practices.
• A BSc/MSc in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
