Job Description:-
Excell Supply is currently seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants for schools in Shrewsbury and surrounding areas. You must have previous experience and a HLTA Teaching Assistant qualification to be considered for these roles. If you believe you have the skills required for this role, please apply now. 

Responsibilities: -
•    Providing specific support and interventions for children across all curriculum areas
•    Leading groups in activities in core curriculum areas such as Phonics, Reading, Maths and Writing.
•    Working with individuals on learning and development activities
•    Preparing resources and areas within the setting
•    Carrying out assessments and recording information
•    Assisting in the daily routines for the children
•    Working with children on range of learning and play activities, indoors and outdoors
•    Liaising with parents

Requirements: -
•    Hold Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
•    Be an excellent and inspirational class practitioner, with children's well-being at the forefront of all actions.
•    Have high expectations for pupils' achievement and behaviour.
•    Possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
•    Previous experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity.
•    Demonstrate transferrable skills such as teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, remaining calm under pressure, caring, and helpfulness.
•    Right to work in the UK.
•    Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (can be obtained through Excell Supply if necessary).
•    All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, or eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
