Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our clients well established team as an HGV2 Driver / Part 2 Scaffolder. In this role, you will be responsible for both driving heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and assisting with scaffolding projects. This is a unique opportunity for someone who possesses both a strong driving skill set and scaffolding expertise.

As an HGV2 Driver / Part 2 Scaffolder, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Additionally, you will assist with the assembly, dismantling, and modification of scaffolding structures to support construction projects. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, physical strength, and the ability to work in both outdoor and indoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGVs to deliver goods to designated locations
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation
• Assist with assembling and dismantling scaffolding structures using appropriate tools and techniques
• Ensure scaffolding is safe and secure before use
• Properly store scaffolding parts and equipment when not in use
• Inspect scaffolding components for any damage or defects
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• Valid HGV2 driver's license
• Previous experience driving HGVs 
• Part 2 scaffolding qualification
• Proven ability to assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures
• Knowledge of scaffolding safety standards and regulations
• Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
