Our well established, bespoke housing development client is on the lookout for a new Project Manager to join their Construction Team, this is a great opportunity for someone interested in the management of New Build Developments and is based local to East Grinstead.
 
Responsibilities for Project Manager
  • Project Manager to manage and negotiate planning applications and attend meetings.
  • To submit Building Regulations applications and to monitor progress, keeping the customer/builder notified of any conditions attached to a Building Regulations approval.
  • To monitor build from start to completion, answering questions and supporting the customer and builder as necessary.
  • To carry out necessary site inspections to ensure the customer and builder are happy with the product.
  • Project Manager to attend site meetings with planners, builders, and customers.
  • Manage the design and Planning, Specification, Build Route as a Project Manager.
  • Monitor Building Set and Construction, Costs, After Sales, Technical Back-up and Support.
  • To prepare estimates, call-off paperwork and pass to Estimating Department.
  • Must be prepared to work a half-day on Saturday once every 1-2months.
  • Project Manager to prepare tender documents.
 
Essential Requirements for Project Manager
  • Supervisory or Management experience.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Previous Sales experience and strong Negotiation skills.
  • Previous experience in a Construction based role.

Desirable Requirements for Project Manager
  • Site Management Certification or Construction Education.
  • Experience Constructing with Timber projects.
  • Able to read and understand Architectural Drawings.
