Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision machining company, based in Redditch, West Midlands, who are actively looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate a range of Doosana and Citizen fixed head and sliding head CNC lathes to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Programming at the machine using Fanuc controls.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience programming, setting up and operating CNC lathes is required.
- Previous experience programming using Fanuc controls is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
