Our client, a leader in innovative modular building solutions, is seeking a Site Labourer to join their progressive team in Bordon, GU35.

About the Job

As a Site Labourer, you will play a key role in the refurbishment and fit-out of a range of modular accommodations. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and preparing buildings and toilet blocks ahead of refurbishment, ensuring they meet the required standard before dispatch
• Performing general housekeeping around the yard and work areas
• Keeping paint storage, tool storage, material store areas, and canteen facilities clean and tidy to ensure a safe working environment
• Assisting Chargehand and Process Workers with manual handling of materials and furniture
• Helping Chargehand with material handling and storage
• Preparing and painting metal work and ancillary items as part of the refurbishment process
• Maintaining tools and equipment to maximize their use and prolong their life
• Developing strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality service

About You

• Experience in a construction/trade environment
• Proficient in assisting with manual handling, material handling, and storage
• Skilled in general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness in yard and work areas
• Experienced in assisting with manual handling of materials and furniture
• Basic DIY skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrics
• Strong problem-solving ability, with effective planning and organization to meet deadlines
• Customer service focused, with the ability to build rapport and deliver excellent service
