Our client is looking to strengthen their existing team by appointing an experienced Maintenance Planner who will be responsible for administrating the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and the planning and execution of all site-wide planned maintenance and planned maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the Site CMMS including any system changes and upgrades (Super User).
  • Populate the CMMS with all relevant General and Planned Maintenance instructions, activities and data.
  • Issue Planned Maintenance Works Orders to all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders onsite, raise relevant Works Orders via the CMMS system.
  • Identify and purchase required spares/consumables for Planned/Corrective Maintenance tasks.
  • Provide weekly/monthly department KPI trends by [all] departments / lines.
  • Be actively involved in all department spends tracking (Inc. Repair Costs, Tooling, etc.)
  • Support the wider department in administrating the site Asset Management system.
  • Be actively involved in managing any obsolescence and critical spares control.
  • Drive continuous improvement of CMMS & PM work orders.
  • Support Reliability Engineers with Contractor administration control e.g. issue daily tracker, manage all documentation (permits, inductions, liability insurance, etc.)
  • Administration of site-specific inspection reports.
  • Department Meetings timetable - arrange and administrate where required.

H&S & Environment

  • Always comply with EHS policy and statutory requirements.
  • Lead by example on all matters of Health & Safety.
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with all applicable safety procedures.
  • Completion of all mandatory EHS training and refreshers as required in a timely manner.
  • Practice safe working techniques in all that you do.
  • Effective waste management control within the relevant area of responsibility, to control, reduce and eliminate waste within anything that we do.
  • Adhere to high levels of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and ensure 5S is always carried out.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Maintenance or Engineering qualification desirable (minimum Level 3 NVQ).
  • IOSH Managing Safely is desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience of working in a busy manufacturing maintenance department.
  • High level of engineering appreciation.
