We are working with an established Machines Servicing company based in Rushden, UK. 

They are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join their team.

In return for a salary in the region of up to £45.000 + Overtime, travel paid door-to-door along with excellent employment benefits.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Field Service Engineer to join our Client’s dynamic team within the Injection Molding industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for attending client visits and breakdowns directly from home, providing exceptional service and support to the clients.

This role requires a flexible approach, as there will be times when you will need to spend periods away from home.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Client Support: Attend client sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain injection molding machinery and associated equipment.
• Breakdown Response: Quickly and effectively respond to machinery breakdowns, minimizing downtime for the client.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
• Installation and Commissioning: Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of injection molding equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and parts used.
• Travel: Be prepared to travel extensively and stay overnight when required, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.

Requirements:

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in the injection molding industry preferred, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and effectively to clients.
• Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering high-quality service and support, with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively and spend time away from home as required.
• Time Management: Ability to manage your own schedule and workload effectively, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.

Desirable Requirements:

• • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a field service Engineering role within the injection molding industry/ or similar
  • Any relevant certifications (e.g., electrical, mechanical) will be advantageous.
  • Valid driving license is essential.
