Voltmetric LTD are looking for experienced electrical estimator to be part of a growing local business. We have built up a strong reputation and have advanced knowledge in our sector which makes us one of the most trusted companies in Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. We carry out all aspects of electrical work with a strong focus on both Commercial and Industrial electrical work. Experience in both sectors is preferred but not necessary.

Voltmetric work on a number of projects within the Industrial, commercial and residential sectors and require a diverse, team player who can fit into our new role of Electrical Estimator.

JOB ROLE

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
• Utilize cost estimation software and tools to ensure precision in calculations (Simpro)
• Evaluate material, labour, and equipment requirements for projects.
• Monitor project progress and update estimates as needed
• Participate in bid reviews and negotiations with clients.

** Requirements **

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
• Proficiency in using cost estimation software such as;
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
