They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior National Account Manager to join their team and drive the growth of the Boots account.

Job Description:

The Senior National Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans to maximize sales and profitability for the Boots account. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in account management, preferably within the beauty or personal care industry. The successful candidate will have exceptional relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to work closely with buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with key accounts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ownership of the P&L.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in national account management – managing UK based accounts including Boots.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Creative thinker with a passion for the beauty industry.
