They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior National Account Manager to join their team and drive the growth of the Boots account.
Job Description:
The Senior National Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans to maximize sales and profitability for the Boots account. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in account management, preferably within the beauty or personal care industry. The successful candidate will have exceptional relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to work closely with buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Sales Strategy: Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with key accounts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ownership of the P&L.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in national account management – managing UK based accounts including Boots.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for the beauty industry.
