Early Help Practitioner

  • £15 - £18 per hourly rate

Bury Council are looking for an Early Help Practitioner to join their Early Help Locality Team.

You will:

  • As part of a team under the direction of a Team Leader, you will work with families requiring a package of support to safeguard and promote their welfare, and who may be experiencing multiple and complex issues.
  • Holding a case load of families you will assess, plan and co-ordinate a package of support for families, as well as providing practical hands-on support and direct work using strength based approaches.
  • Work directly with Children and Young People, gaining insight into their lived experience and developing interventions to improve outcomes. 
  • Work with partners to take a whole family approach to prevention and intervention and work across services to effect positive changes.
