Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG

This company specialise in the distribution of FMCG and have many clients in the UK. The business is now looking for a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to be on call to keep downtime across the sites a minimum whilst maintaining a variety of equipment. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer will involve the following.

• Attend Reactive breakdowns
• Swapping components on a variety of equipment involving packaging and distribution
• Electrical responsibilities will include fault finding on PLCs and a variety of electrical components such as sensors, relays, proximities, control panels, single phase, three phase.
• Mechanical responsibilities will include, conveyor systems, gearboxes, cranes, ovens, chillers, mixers, etc.

 The Maintenance Engineer must possess the following skills and experience.

• Previous electrical and mechanical experience within a factory environment – this could be, packaging, or Pharmaceutical.
• Electrical engineering qualification
• Mechanical engineering qualification
• Able to fault find and repair a wide range electrical and mechanical components

The benefits of this Maintenance Engineer contract is the following.

• Outside IR35 (limited company)
• Night Shifts
• £33 per hour
