Cover Supervisor

Contract: Full-time

Location: Lincoln

Start Date: September

Pay Rate: £85 - £120 per day

GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a reputable school in Lincoln. This full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and support students' learning journeys.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide support and guidance to students, fostering their academic progress.
• Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the overall school environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
• Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
