Stock Supervisor

Salary/Rate:
£28,000 - £32,000/annum

We are currently recruiting for an organised, reliable, and service-orientated Supervisor / Leader to oversee all daily warehousing activities. You will ensure that the warehouses operate at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction as the primary goal, by supervising, organising, and training employees and managing operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all logistical processes
  • Motivate and lead warehouse staff
  • Communicate job expectations clearly and provide all necessary training to staff
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance
  • Ensure stock management is accurate and managed effectively,
  • Identify areas of improvement and further establish innovative work procedures and practices
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.
  • Ensuring daily productivity targets and service levels are achieved
  • Oversee all forklift operations
  • Support site management team through maintaining records and preparing reports

Skillset

  • Proven leadership experience within a logistics environment
  • Highly effective supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
  • You should be a natural coach and people leader who is able to inspire and motivate others
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm.
