Product Manager - Electronic Displays and solutions

UK Wide (Home Based), to £75K basic + Good bonus potential

Are you involved in Electronic Displays and Display technology (LCD, OLED, TFT etc) in a Sales Leadership, Product Management, Product Marketing or Applications oriented role? Our client is a well-established successful and growing (organic and through acquisition) business in the electronic components and electronic displays and display technology across the UK.

They require an experienced Electronic Displays professional (Product Manager / Applications Engineer / Sales) to assume responsibility for the further development of their Displays business segment which provides a range of high-performance displays ( OLED, LCD, TFT etc), ruggedised tablets and full-custom solutions into a variety of applications in the electronics and high-technology sector.

Some key objectives include:-

• Promote the Electronics DISPLAY portfolio to customers, via marketing, directly and via the dedicated sales channels to maximise opportunities and profitable revenue
• Provide technical expertise and advice to customers throughout their design cycle, understand their needs and successfully implement Display technology solutions
• Become the key resource for the sales and Account Management teams in identifying, targeting and developing opportunities to increase the adoption of Display solutions and technology
• Work closely with key supplies to identify and introduce new technologies to the UK market
• Develop key marketing campaigns and strategies to promote Display products, utilising website and social media etc
• Travel to suppliers and customers, sometime internationally, to build key relationships

To be successful in the role of Displays Product Manager, you should have a blend of the following skills and experience:-

• Demonstrable experience in a similar capacity within the electronics market (customer, distributor, or manufacturer)
• Product Management / Product marketing
• Sales / Sales Leadership
• Applications / Commercial Customer Support
• Extensive knowledge of Displays and Display Technology.
• Experienced in new business identification and project management with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills and motivated to work from a home office.
