A leading UK charity-based organisation is currently recruiting for a Network Infrastructure Architect to be fully responsible for providing expertise in design and implementation of the network infrastructure, transferring enterprise applications and data into azure cloud environments. The successful Network Infrastructure Architect will drive wider adoption and use of Microsoft focussed technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and architect the best network and cloud solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of Barnardo's with a focus on Cisco MerakiAzure, and Azure networking technologies.
• Bring an in depth understanding of network technology, including Cloud, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD networks, telephony, mobile solutions infrastructure, unified comms, network management solutions, and security and remote access technologies and approaches.
• Design and lead a well-informed cloud strategy to continually improve and evolve key corporate systems, ensuring stability, scalability, and security at all times.
• Develop and manage cloud architecture and position in cloud environments.
• You will lead the architecting, designing, implementing and securing all Cloud networks and infrastructure across the azure cloud platform.
• Lead the technical ongoing review and assessments of cloud technologies to define the strategic and tactical steps to deliver the cloud roadmaps, cloud solution design, and related sourcing activities.
• Support the delivery of key strategic programs supporting the Design, testing and implementation of complex solutions involving internal and external stakeholders. Ensure smooth interaction with Okta, our identity provider

Experience:

• Experience in architecting, designing, implementing, securing and operating IT systems across multiple leading commercial Cloud platforms, primarily Azure, in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience of technical review and assessments, strategy, architectures, roadmaps, solution design, and related sourcing activities.
• Experience of integrating security products into complex technical landscapes.
• Experience of designing and implementing Microsoft platforms in other organisations.
• Experience with SASE and Zero Trust Network Access solutions - - Zscaler
• Knowledge and experience in Azure Load balancers, Proxy Networks, Zscaler routing and Meraki
• Knowledge and experience in Large Enterprise Networks and consolidating traffic flows
