About the Role

As a Science teacher at this esteemed Alternative Provision, you will deliver engaging and dynamic lessons tailored to meet the needs of students who thrive in a non-traditional learning environment. With small class sizes, you'll have the opportunity to provide personalised instruction and build meaningful relationships with your students. This role is perfect for a creative and resilient teacher who is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational experience.



Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain a safe learning environment


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Degree in Science or a related subject
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level, preferably in an alternative provision or similar setting
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
