About the Business

An opportunity to be a Finance Business Partner for a nationwide service provider near Coventry! This role has an amazing chance for growth in your career and to work in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. This role is highly commercial and will get you involved in all areas of the business.  

Main Duties:

As a Finance Business Partner your main duties include:

  • Build strong relationships with Operations Directors and Managers, providing financial guidance and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Prepare trading reports, review budgets, create forecasts, and investigate variances.
  • Support the Operations team with performance reporting during monthly reviews, communicating financial performance, and discussing risks and opportunities.
  • Provide financial information for sales tendering activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, enhance financial controls, and optimize efficiency.
  • Develop current financial models, internal reporting, and systems within finance and other departments.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support the audit process and assist the Financial Controller.
  • Assist the Financial Controller and Group Finance Director with financial and non-financial projects.
  • Reconcile various balance sheet accounts monthly.
  • Assist in preparing company management accounts as needed.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous Business Partner experience
  • Someone who’s a real doer
  • Skilled user of Microsoft packages, encompassing Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to building teamwork
