Experience required of the Site Agent

• Experience in civil engineering projects 
• Ability to lead on site and drive performance against a target programme

Qualifications Required

• CSCS Accreditation (Manager or higher)
• SMSTS

Desirable Qualifications

• Confined Spaces Accreditation
• Temporary Work Co-ordinator / Supervisor
• Lifting Operations Supervisor or Appointed Person
• SEATS (Environmental)
• Service Avoidance (CAT & GENNY)
• First Aid at Work

Role Purpose of the Site Agent is to successfully deliver a nominated project

Responsibilities of the Site Agent

• Health & safety
• Develop and review method statements and risk assessments
• Devise Lift Plans if Appointed Person qualified
• Preparing and presenting site inductions and toolbox talks and training.
• Ensure daily/weekly briefing and review meetings are carried out
• update contract programme weekly with project planner
• Produce Monthly report.
• planning and resourcing &management of labour and subcontractors
• Organise/attend internal weekly site meetings.
• Procurement and requisitioning of materials and sub-contractors.
• Completion of Project Close-Out reports.
• Complete Plant & material requisitions
• Review specification and drawings.
• Review prices, comparison table, attend subcontract appraisal interviews.
• Produce/operate to Inspection and Test Plan
• Complete Temporary Works Design Brief and send to the Design Department
• Issue four weekly programme to Foreman and Engineer.
• Meet with residents/landowners/stakeholders/utility companies to agree the method and timing of works.
