Responsibilities:

- Project Delivery: Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, coordinating effectively with project managers and subcontractors.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold high-quality construction standards, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership and Support: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior site engineers and site staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Problem Solving: Utilise engineering expertise to address complex challenges and optimise project outcomes.
- Technical Expertise: Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to project goals.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site, implementing and monitoring safety procedures to mitigate risks and enhance workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related
Experience:
- Senior Engineers: 5+ years of experience in senior site engineering roles, with a proven track record in managing commercial projects, including expertise in steelwork and cladding systems.
- Mid-Level Engineers: Relevant experience in site engineering, demonstrating proficiency in construction methods, materials, and project management.
- Junior Engineers: Entry-level to some experience in site engineering, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management software.
