Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage: Oversee site engineering activities for diverse commercial and residential projects.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, coordinating effectively with project managers and subcontractors.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold high-quality construction standards, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership and Support: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior site engineers and site staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Problem Solving: Utilise engineering expertise to address complex challenges and optimise project outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to project goals.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site, implementing and monitoring safety procedures to mitigate risks and enhance workplace safety.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related

Experience:

  • Senior Engineers: 5+ years of experience in senior site engineering roles, with a proven track record in managing commercial projects, including expertise in steelwork and cladding systems.
  • Mid-Level Engineers: Relevant experience in site engineering, demonstrating proficiency in construction methods, materials, and project management.
  • Junior Engineers: Entry-level to some experience in site engineering, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management software.
