Reception Class Teacher (Part-Time, Mon-Tue)

Location: North Suburb of Chesterfield

Position: Reception Class Teacher (Early Years Foundation Stage)
Contract Type: Part-Time (Monday-Tuesday)
Salary: Main Pay scale

We are seeking a confident and experienced Reception Class Teacher to join our strong and established team. This is a part-time role, requiring you to undertake the full responsibilities of a teacher from Monday to Tuesday each week. You will be working with our youngest learners, helping to lay the foundation for their educational journey in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and parents to foster a positive learning community.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Proven experience teaching in a Reception class or similar early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the school community.
