This is a genuinely rare and exciting opportunity to work closely with a relatively new housing association, have direct engagement with its founder and have autonomy to truly help shape a Registered Social Landlord from the ground up, and what’s even better is you can deliver the role remotely, this is made possible due to the empowering leadership style of the COO and Founder.

As the Governance Manager, you will work closely with a team of experienced professionals who bring a wealth of industry experience, including backgrounds in G15 organisations and leadership roles in large charities. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will have the opportunity to review existing processes, develop innovative ways of working, and ensure the association meets its governance requirements. One of the most exciting aspects of this role is the ability to horizon scan and prepare for industry changes while the organisation is on an exciting growth trajectory. You will provide assurance to managers and the Board that delivery and services are independently monitored for risk, quality, and compliance. The role also involves ensuring continued compliance by setting, monitoring, and embedding the Governance Framework in line with the agreed Corporate Plans.

The successful Governance & Policy Manager will receive a starting basic salary of up to £43,000, 24 days annual leave with bank holidays and Christmas closure on top, autonomy to plan your day as you see fit, remote working and a health cash plan.
