SEN Teaching Assistant 

Engage Education are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants on behalf of several Primary Schools in the Barking and Dagenham area. The role is to start in September and would be a fixed 1 year contract with the potential to become permanent. 

The school are looking for Teaching Assistants who are comfortable supporting children with various special educational needs ranging from Autism, ADHD, SEMH and physical disabilities. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, creative and can think on their feet as not every day will be the same. 

The ideal applicant will be:

• Minimum of 6 months experience working in a Primary school OR SEND school 
• Experience supporting young people with SEND 
• Willingness to do support with personal care
• Able to inspire and innovate in the classroom
