A key client, a leading design and manufacturer of Digital & Electronic Security Systems based in the heart of the Black Country, is seeking to hire a Process Automation Engineer. This dynamic role will play a crucial part in developing and supporting our advancing production facilities.

🏭 About the Role:
Team: Production Engineering
Reports to: Operations Director

🔧 Essential Skills:

A degree level or equivalent qualification in computer engineering or a similar field.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Expertise in PLC programming and industrial automation.
Strong understanding of ladder logic, control flow, and PLC hardware architecture.
Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Rockwell Automation.
Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software and SCADA systems is a plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of legacy software such as QBasic would be beneficial but is not essential.
