Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher looking to inspire young minds? GSL Education believes in fostering a love for languages and cultures from around the world. At now, GSL Education is in search of a MFL Teacher to fill a post at one of our client schools in Sheffield.

Job Summary: The role of a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher is multifaceted, involving a blend of instructional, administrative, and supportive duties aimed at fostering students' language acquisition and cultural understanding.

Role of a MFL Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive MFL lessons to students across various proficiency levels.
  • Cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
  • Plan and implement creative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school's MFL curriculum and extracurricular activities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Specialization in Modern Foreign Languages.
  • Passion for language learning and cultural exchange.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential.
