Three Rivers District in South West Hertfordshire straddles the north west corner of the M25 on the edge of Greater London. The district is a mixture of beautiful countryside, villages and small towns. The area has a diverse range of businesses and is a centre for the film industry with Warner Brothers at Leavesden forming part of a studio cluster, along with Elstree and Pinewood a short drive away.

We are now looking for a Property and Asset Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Property and Asset Manager, you will act as the expert for our asset portfolio.

As a cornerstone of our Property and Facilities function, you will lead a small team of property professionals and navigate a wide spectrum of estate management tasks, from leases to valuations.

You will support strategic objectives that propel our community forward, utilising your financial acumen to manage budgets and optimise our assets, ensuring an efficient Property Service that aligns with our Corporate Strategy.

Additionally, you will:

- Undertake a broad range of estates management, lease, valuation and commercial property activities
- Support the Head of Property & Major Projects in delivering a range of strategic objectives
- Take responsibility for the financial and budget management of our property assets

About You

To be considered as a Property and Asset Manager, you will need:

- Experience of managing a varied portfolio of property and land assets
- Experience in overseeing both revenue and capital budgets
- Experience in executing diverse property-related transactions and devising innovative
strategies
- Experience of developing and implementing highly effective estates processes and management of information
- Detailed knowledge of landlord and tenant law, case law, and industry standards
- To be educated to degree level in an Estate Management discipline (or equivalent)
- To be a fully qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS or FRICS)
- A full valid driving licence and access to your own transport

A basic/enhanced DBS check will be carried out for this post.
