Supply Chain Coordinator

Fresh People are currently looking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator for our client a Fresh Produce business based in Maidstone in Kent . In this role you will assist the Procurement Managers with all aspects of running an effective supply chain in conjunction with the Account Managers who coordinate all customer order amendments working Sunday – Thursday 40 hours a week .

The Candidate

Suitable candidates must have previous supply chain or procurement experience within Fresh Produce/ Food Manufacturing / FMCG , must have strong communication skills, attention to detail as you will be overseeing and coordinating the movement of Fresh produce from supplier to customers . Proficient in Microsoft Office and Prophet experience would be an advantage

Key Accountabilities:

  • Liaise with category suppliers to facilitate cover requests in order to maximise service
  • Produce and maintain various service level KPI’s and trackers
  • Administer the set up of any new customers or products within our ERP system
  • Build and maintain supplier load plans amending order confirmations as required
  • Liaise with growers to confirm volumes & varieties loaded
  • Set up Purchase Orders in the Prophet ERP system for all arrivals
  • Raise delivery notes, create ASN labels & issue booking references for Direct deliveries
  • E-mail packing programs & raw material arrival schedules to pack sites & the logistics team
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure that sufficient stock is available at all packing sites to fulfil orders
  • Obtain stock inventory levels from any 3rd party packers and share with logistics
  • Administer PO’s & process works orders in the Prophet ERP system where required
  • Process sales orders for product supplied from 3rd party packers
  • Place Customer crate orders and manage the hire & de-hire process for direct suppliers & 3rd party packers
  • Manage stock control of customer crates for direct suppliers and 3rd party packers
  • Administer suppliers stock control systems for their arrivals where relevant
  • Update and maintain master arrivals data & assist with the preparation of season reviews
  • Prepare grower finalisations & returns where instructed
  • Process fruit cost invoices as directed
