Year 5 Class Teacher - East Ham - Full Time - 1 Year Maternity Cover
We are working with a great Primary School based in East Ham that are looking for a qualified Key Stage 2 Teacher to work in their Year 5 class.
This position is available to start in September 2024 and contracted for the full academic year with a review in July 2025 for the role to become permanent.
You will be required to work Monday - Friday.
The school are looking for a committed candidate who will work well as a member of their team to support raising pupils’ attainment.
You will be part of a fantastic year group of 5 teachers sharing responsibilities so most planning of lessons will already be in place.
The school prides themselves of their warm, friendly and encouraging environment where students and staff have an understanding of mutual respect, therefore creating a positive atmosphere for learning and teaching.
We are looking for someone who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status
- Have a DBS on the update service (Criminal records check)
- Be passionate about making a difference to children’s learning
- Supportive and understanding of all children’s needs
- Someone who is enthusiastic, flexible and motivated to do well each day
- Previous key stage 2 experience
